One issue with which the Wii is often faced is that of third-party support. So far, the two have mixed not unlike a peanut butter and pickle sandwich; some like it, while others are disgusted by the whole thing. Some third-parties see Nintendo themselves as the biggest obstacle, as their games sell the best. Some will try to make a serious game to compete, while others will make quick-n-easy PlayStation 2 ports, and others effectively taking the shovelware route (same difference, if you ask some people).
