Two Worlds 2 Interview Part 1: Redemption, Challenges, Horses and More

Greetings, dear readers. Recently, we at Kombo had the chance to sit down with a developer of one the most exciting games coming out this fall, and, hopefully, a candidate for the (nonexistent) "most improved sequel" award: Two Worlds 2. Jake DiGennaro, community director at Topware Interactive, chatted with us about everything from the mistakes that were were during development of the first game to motion control and 3D technology - with plenty of new info about Two Worlds 2 thrown in, as well. If you've been keeping up with Kombo for the last week or so, you've probably been seeing some excerpts from this interview popping up in our daily news coverage. As promised, here's part one of the two part interview in its entirety. Enjoy, and come back tomorrow for part two! Now hit that jump to start reading! Read More

The curtain has lifted on NHL 11, with previews and screens arriving beginning yesterday. WWE's John Cena Boasts Victory Over Guest Host Mike Tyson

Last night, WWE Monday Night Raw found itself with a special guest host in the form of "The Baddest Man on the Planet," "Iron" Mike Tyson. And at the start of the show, John Cena made his way to the ring to plead his case as to why he deserved a WWE title shot: Tyson, who helped revive the company back in 1998, appeared to help promote his eponymous upcoming movie, as well as EA Sports' Fight Night Round 4 by way of numerous posters for the game, as well as a demo running in the background. Though truth be told, they didn't give very much focus to the game otherwise. Oh, and if you were wondering, John Cena lost in his match. Enjoy the video while you can, WWE will likely have it pulled down before long. And unfortunately,'s videos have cut the entire reason we're posting this, so that's no option, either. Read More

PSN Update a Day Late in the US

For the first time ever, a Playstation Store North American Thursday update didn't arrive on Thursday, but was mysteriously delayed to Friday morning. Sony has given no word on the cause, but the amount of content offered in this update may justify the delay for some. Most shocking is the amount of full playable content offered in this update – three PSOne games, four demos, and a PSN game. Usually the North American store is lucky to get a single PSOne game while the Japanese store alternatively usually gets four-to-six PSOne games a week. Those PSOne games are Tomb Raider 2, Cool Boarders 2, and SimCity 2000 – all for $5.99 each. The demos are for the new FEAR 2 campaign called "Reborn," WET, DiRT 2, and NHL 10. The full game is The Legend of Han Tao at $14.99. Read More
