PSN Thursday – 8/13/09: Marvel Vs. Capcom, Tomb Raider, and LBP

Welcome, welcome to your weekly journey through the PlayStation Network releases. This week's release has got some pretty good stuff. Marvel vs. Capcom, which recently came out on Xbox Live Arcade, is now available for the PlayStation 3. That will run you 15 bucks. Also, it seems Sony has been on top of the ball about re-releasing classic PSone titles. The original Tomb Raider is the most notable title to come out this week and that will cost 10 bucks. The guys at Media Molecule are releasing their LittleBigPlanet Histroy Pack today. You can check out the details of that here. Continue reading for the official word from the PlayStation Blog. PSN Thursday – 8.6.09: Batman, Nazi Zombies, and LittleBigInFamous

Another Thursday, another PlayStation Network update. Those looking to give Batman: Arkham Asylum a shot before it comes out later this month are in luck. There is a 1GB demo now available. Aside from that, Call of Duty: World at War has a new map pack. It consists of four new multiplayer maps, including Der Riese, a new Nazi Zombie level. The endless LittleBigPlanet DLC continues to be…umm…never ending. This time you can pay $1.99 to dress your Sackboy up like a hipster bike messenger with super powers of electricity. Yes, I'm referring to Cole from InFamous. Another notable release is Square Enix's tower defense game, Crystal Defenders. For $9.99 you can download the full game or try out the demo for free. Check out the whole list after the break. Read More

XBL Update – 8/6/09

Today is a good day for Xbox 360 owners with Live, as DLC for titles from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 to Guitar Hero are now available. Of course, the most notable mention is Treyarch's Map Pack 3 for Call of Duty: World at War, and the good news is all the DLC released this week is under 800 Microsoft moogle Points, or $10. Check out what's all available after the break. Read More

PSN Thursday – 7.30.09: Obese Princesses and Watchmen

I'd venture to say that this week's PlayStation Network update is above average in quality, mostly due to the fact that Fat Princess is now out. In addition, the second episode of Watchmen: The End is Nigh is available for 15 bucks. If you'd like to try before you buy, there is also a demo version. Your standard Rock Band and Guitar Hero DLC makes an appearance. However, you may notice the lack of LittleBigPlanet content. I'm sure we can expect some next week though.
