EA Rumored to Open New Studio for Command & Conquer

RockPaperShotgun is reporting that EA is iin the works to develop a new Command & Conquer game, and not only that, but they are opening a new studio called Victory Games to make this happen. EA updated a Command & Conquer website today, which is currently down. According to those who saw it, EA is making an announcement for Victory Games, which will be based in LA, Texas and Shanghai, and that the next C&C game will be triple-A. As of right now, that's pretty much all we reall know. Seems like the next C&C might take an online-only approach, but that remains to be seen. A recent job posting on LinkedIn suggests that BioWare are seeking to implement multiplayer into Mass Effect 3. EA senior recruiter Jeff Goldstein posted a job listing, which has since been removed, looking for a "Multiplayer Programmer (Mass Effect)". An anonymous tipster has slipped a scan of the placeholder box for the not-yet-officially-announced-but-known-about-for-some-time upcoming title from Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Kotaku contacted Ubisoft and, in a nearly unbelievable twist, Ubisoft confirmed that it was real.
