Dead Space 2 "Ignition" Image Hints at Upcoming Announcement

Dead Space 2 fans have, over the last several months, been treated to some of the most interesting game marketing in recent memory. The ink blots, mysterious packages and cryptic trailer that have come to light have all hinted that something is seriously wrong with protagonist Isaac Clark, whether physically, psychologically or both. Now that some hearty gameplay footage has been devoured by fans and media alike, though, it's likely that Visceral will be revealing more and more about the game's new features. Blacklight: Tango Down Goes Live Tomorrow

Summer is a time for levity. No one has time for anything heavy. Heavy books don't mesh well with reading by the beach. Heavy movies don't really mix with sunshine and pina coladas. Heavy games don't work with splitting time between enjoying the weather and going to the pool. That is where cheap and light downloadable games come into the conversation. Well, tomorrow, July 7, Ignition is releasing Blacklight: Tango Down for the Xbox Live Arcade. It is a multiplayer focused first-person shooter that checks all the boxes for a modern shooter. It looks great, has a leveling system, has a large number of maps, and a 4-player co-op mode. Not exactly light, but is it cheap? Hit the jump for all the details. Read More

Blacklight: Tango Down Features "Trillions" of Weapon Combinations

Blacklight: Tango Down developers Zombie Studios will finally be delivering on a promise made to gamers years ago by the developers of Borderlands. At the outset of that game's development, Gearbox Software was aiming to include a robust weapon customization system that would result in millions of possible combinations, all in players' control. Instead, they opted to make the customization automatic, and the game randomly generates the millions of weapon combinations as players defeat enemies and discover loot. Blacklight: Tango Down, which comes out later this year on XBox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, and PC, puts the customization in the hands of the players. Check out the developer diary video above and hit the jump for more details. Read More
