Rock Band 2 Track Pack Volume 2 Hitting All Rock Band Consoles

Harmonix, MTV Games and Electronic Arts announced Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2, a standalone retail disc containing 20 tracks previously only available for purchase as downloadable content for the Rock Band video games. Previously only available to Wii and PS2 owners due to the lack of online play on those editions of Rock Band, Track Pack Volume 2 will release for the first time on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in addition to the aforementioned consoles for the MSRP of $29.99. While all versions of the RBTPV2 are able to be played without the full version of Rock Band 2, the 360 and PS3 versions will come with the functionality to download those songs onto their console. This seems like a bit of a weird move on one side considering all the songs on the Track Pack Volume 2 disc are available as DLC already on Xbox 360 and PS3, but -- you may want to take a seat before I break this to you -- some console owners may not have their consoles linked up to the 'net.
