Pirates of the Burning Sea launched in late January and to celebrate
this massively multiplayer online title, GameZone is holding a
video-story contest.
Tell us your best pirate story in video, using in-game assets from
PotBS.
The videos should be:
- 5-8 minutes in length, in NTSC 4:3 format with video
settings of 420x315 and a frame rate of 30 - Three files should be submitted – an FLV file (Flash
Video), html file and Shockwave Flash Object (we
recommend using Sothink Video Encoder to
process the files) - Zip files down into one file to submit
- You can narrate the stories, use music, but the
key here is to tell a story of high adventure in
the PotBS world. - All assets used in the video must be from the game
itself – this includes the video and music.

The contest will start on March 3 and run til April 1, 2008.
1st Place Prize:
- One free month’s subscription to the game
- Piranha headset from Razer
- Tarantula keyboard from Razer

2nd Place Prize:

3rd Place Prize:
- Some "cool schwag" from Flying Labs, the game’s creator
Judging will be done by selected members of the GameZone.com staff. All appropriate submissions will be featured on GameZone.com.
